Cable Structure
- Conductor material: Solid annealed conductor with smooth and uniform surface.
- PE core insulation: Compound of type Ill, class B, category 4 or 5 and grade EB according to ASTM D - 1248
- Core identification: The single cores are twisted together to form a pair; pairs are color coded and twisted pairs form the cable core.
- Core wrapping: A layer of polyester film wrapped helically or longitudinally for core protection.
- Aluminium shield: A layer of aluminium foil wrapped helically or longitudinally as a shield in contact with a single bare or tinned copper wire.
- PVC outer sheath: Compound type of YM 1.
- Sheath color is gray
Application
These types of cables are used for transmission of analog or digital signals and also for fixed installations. In communications technology the following connections can be installed:
